The Summer Program is action packed full summer long 8 week program that runs from July 3rd, 2018 until August 31st, 2018, Monday through Friday, with some high performance practices on the weekends. 2018 is going to be an amazing summer!

Registration in this program grants paddlers and their family full membership to the Senobe Aquatic Club and all of its privileges.

Senobe should be your #1 choice as we offer an experienced and successful coaching team led by Head Coach Rob Baert. Paddlers will experience more time on the water with Senobe than with any other paddling club in a positive, fun and family oriented environment.

Your 2018 Summer Coaching Staff and schedules are -

Head Coach: Rob Baert
Bethany Baert Jacob McKenna
Jack McGovern Ryan Hebert

Head Start Program (see details below)

U11/Atom - Program

There are three separate U11 groups:

Pre Racing - for those who are very young or just starting out and not yet comfortable paddling beyond the immediate vicinity of the club. This group will stay mostly near the dock and use our most stable boats and emphasize balance and confidence.  Generally geared toward 6-7 year olds, but is open to older athletes who need to gain some balance skills and boat confidence as well.

U11 Boys & U11 Girls Groups - will be made up of U11 athletes who have the confidence, ability, and desire to paddle up to 5km (that's "Around Bull Rock" in paddling lingo) in a single session. Our coaches will lead these groups from a safety boat, providing basic feedback on technique and introduce their athletes to some basic paddling workouts.

U11 Development Group - For U11 athletes who have a desire to start slightly more intense training.  The focus of this group will still be on fun and on learning the basics of paddling, but it will also provide athletes with the opportunity to engage in a targeted training program and to start on the path towards High Performance.

In general, members will be advised which groups are best for them in the first week or so of the summer, and our coaches will keep a close eye on each paddler throughout the summer to make sure that they remain in a group that is both fun and challenging. If you have questions, you are encouraged to attend the Orientation session that will be held closer to opening day.
