ClubCare Babysitting (Formerly known as Daycamp)

If your child was born in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 or 2018 they must have a supervising caregiver with them while at Senobe.

The supervising caregiver should be at Senobe throughout the day when the child is present, even when the child is participating in on water programming. 

Supervising caregivers can be:

• Parents
• Grandparents
• Babysitters (13 years and older)
• Older siblings (13 years and older) Note: Older siblings that are participating in day-program paddling cannot be supervising caregivers
• Parents of other children, as arranged between parties.
• Senobe provided ClubCare supervisor (see below)

All supervising caregivers should be present at Senobe while the child is present, and should be available in the event of emergencies or indicidents arrising. 

ClubCare Babysitting

Senobe does provide Babysitting in the form of the ClubCare Babysitting program. This is an add on to our summer paddling programs, and provides children born between 2014 and 2018 with a supervising caregiver throughout the day at Senobe. 

The ClubCare program is designed around our summer paddling schedule. Children who are not particating in paddling should not be enrolled in the ClubCare program. If a ClubCare participant is not attending their scheduled paddling sessions, their parents may be asked to find other child care arrangments, and refunds will be given.

Children who are too young to participate in paddling, are considered too young to access the ClubCare program.

For supervision purposes, children enroled in the ClubCare program should be based out of the ClubCare area, and not have seperate tents on the beach.

ClubCare runs from 8:00am to 5:00pm. There is no early drop off/late pickup option. 

The cost is $950. This fee is an addition to the costs of paddling programs. Please select this package at registration for all children who require it.

Summer Program vs Summer Program w/ClubCare add on

What the Off-water Supervision add-on provides:

✅ Supervision between paddling sessions for your child born between 2014 and 2018.

✅ A staff person for you child to check in with when arriving in the morning (rain or shine).

✅ Someone to make sure your child makes it to their practices on time.

✅ A sun shelter to hang out in during the day.

✅ A contact person to reach at Senobe, or to reach out to you in care of emergency.

✅ Reminders to apply suncreen, eat lunch, and wear a hat!

What the child care add-on does not provide:

❌ Meals/snacks for you child

❌ Organized activities between paddling sessions

❌ Application of sunscreen

Why would I need the ClubCare add-on?

If you are registering children born in from 2014 to 2018, but are unable to provide one of the supervising caregiver options listed above, you will need to enrol your child in the ClubCare program. You will need to add one ClubCare package for every child requiring the service.
